In June 2000, our company received environmental certification from Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) for our use of recovered submerged timber. SCS is an internationally recognized, independent third party environmental claims evaluation and certification organization. SCS was established in 1984 to provide independent scientific assessments of environmental claims. Through its certification of claims in the forest products industry, SCS encourages environmental forest based operations by providing a mechanism to convey information about such environmentally friendly products to interested wood buyers.

SCS has certified that “Timeless Timber” is produced exclusively from 100% salvaged wood, specifically from recovered timber. SCS has conducted an on-site inspection of Timeless Timber's facilities, and in addition, has examined Timeless Timber’s supplier base. The Forest Stewardship Council (FCS), an international organization that evaluates and accredits certifiers of forest products, accredits the SCS.
